Penalties

Any person who commits an offence under this Act shall, unless a special penalty for that offence is provided by this Act, be liable on conviction, in the case of a first offence, to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars and, in the case of a 56 subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both such fine and term of imprisonment.
