By-laws with respect to the handling, wrapping, etc., of food and the sale of food in open air

(1) A local authority may, with the approval of the Minister, make by-laws for securing the observance of sanitary and cleanly conditions and practices in connection with the handling, wrapping and delivery of food sold or intended for sale for human consumption, and in connection with the sale or exposure for sale in the open air of food intended for human consumption. (2) If and so far as a by-law made under this section is inconsistent with any regulations made under this Act, the latter shall prevail. ice cream, etc.,
