Proof of offences

(1) There shall be and is hereby established for the purposes of this Act a body corporate by the name of “the Belize Sugar Cane Farmers Association” (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) which shall be an autonomous entity governed by the provisions of this Act. (2) It shall be lawful for the Registrar or any person authorised by the Registrar in that behalf to issue violation tickets for offences committed against this Act. (3) (3) The maximum penalty for an offence specified in a violation ticket issued pursuant to sub-section (2) shall be ten thousand dollars.
