Composition of the SCQCA

(1) The SCQCA shall be composed of five persons appointed by the Board in the manner provided in sub-section (2. (2) The SCQCA shall consist of the following persons, namely– (a) two representatives nominated by the (b) two representatives of the associations; and (c) one representative nominated jointly by the manufacturers and the association who shall be the Chairperson of the SCQCA. (3) The principal functions of the SCQCA shall be to coordinate, execute and supervise all aspects of cane quality control, including the core sampling operations.
