Repeal and savings

(1) This Act comes into force on the 31st day of December, 2009. (2) The Development Finance Corporation Act, Cap. 279, as amended by Act No. 12 of 2006, is hereby repealed. (3) Notwithstanding the repeal under subsection (2) of this section, an action taken or anything done in exercise of a power conferred by or under the repealed Act shall be deemed to have been taken or done under this Act. (4) Until Regulations are made pursuant to section 12 of this Act, Regulations made under section 10 of the repealed Act shall, in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continue in force as if made under section 12 of this Act.
