Counting of votes and announcement of result

(1) The votes shall be counted by a presiding body consisting of the Chairman, the Chief Executive Officer and one private sector representative nominated for that purpose by the CFZMA Board of Directors. The presiding body may employ counting clerks to assist in the counting process. (2) All disputes as to the counting of votes shall be determined by the CFZMA Board of Directors whose decision thereon shall be final. Free Zones 53 (3) The result of the election shall be announced by the Chief Executive Officer who shall name the duly elected members to the Board of Directors of the CFZMA. (4) Within two weeks of the declaration of the result of the election, the Chief Executive Officer shall publish the result in the Gazette and in at least one national or local newspaper.
