Revocation of Certificate of Compliance

(1) The CEO shall revoke a company’s Certificate of Compliance where– (a) a company violates the provisions of the Act with respect to the use and destination of machinery, vehicles, raw materials, semi- manufactured products and other articles purchased under the CFZ Regime; (b) a company through its own fault fails to initiate operations within two years from the date of its Certificate of Compliance; (c) the CEO receives a written request from the company for revocation of status. (2) Notification of revocation of CFZ status shall be made in writing to the company concerned which may appeal such revocation in accordance with Section 17 (7) of the Act.
