Functions of Committee

The functions of the Committee shall include the following– (a) receiving, considering and determining applications for under these Regulations; (b) providing advisory information and other related services to licence holders; (c) assisting licence holders in any matters affecting the discharge of their functions; (d) performing any other functions for the better carrying out of the objects and purposes of these Regulations, including but not limited to defining policy guidelines for the operation of local water passenger vessels and local water sports vessels, and setting and revising on a continuous basis the licensing criteria for and developing rules and regulations for the training of operators and other similar activities.
