Offences and penalties

Any person who forges any licence, or has in his possession any false document which closely resembles a licence issued by the Committee with the intent of misleading the public into believing that such document is a licence, or who transfers or assigns any licence to another person, commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a period of six months, or to both such fine and period of imprisonment.
