Money due to infant

(1) Money due to an infant under a nomination or payable to him under rule 48 of these Rules shall be retained in the Savings Bank until the infant attains the age of twenty-one years. (2) But the Minister may, if he thinks fit, order the whole or any part of such money to be applied for the maintenance, education, or benefit of the infant in such manner as the Minister thinks proper, and the Minister may, if he thinks fit, order the whole or any part thereof to be paid to the infant personally, notwithstanding his minority.
