Power to examine and inspect

(1) The Central Bank is authorised, with or without prior notice, to enter and inspect the premises of an operator or payment service provider for the purposes of carrying out its functions under this Act and during an inspection the Central Bank may31 (a) inspect and retain any book, account, other document, equipment, apparatus, machinery, and any other item or record of a payment system participant, operator or issuer of a payment instrument; and (b) interview staff of a payment service provider or operator.
