In exercise of the powers vested in me by section 84 of the Trade Marks Act and all other powers thereunto me enabling, I, GODFREY SMITH, Minister responsible to Trade Marks, do hereby appoint the 5th day of January, 2001, as the day on which the said Act shall come into force.
