Mode of communication

(1) Applications shall be proceeded with, and other communication with the Office effected, by written, typed or printed correspondence; and, unless the Registrar for good reason decides otherwise, no regard need to be given to any other mode of communication with the Office. (2) When communicating with the Office about an application or registered design, the correspondent shall identify the application or registration clearly, giving such information as the date of filing, kind of product, name of applicant and registration number. 14
