Repeals

(1) The Patents and Designs Act, Cap. 212 R. E. 1980-1990, and the United Kingdom Patent Acts of 1949 and 1977, in so far as they apply to designs that are or may be protected under the law of Belize, shall stand repealed at the commencement of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the provisions of section 28 of the Interpretation Act, Cap. 1, the repeals effected by subsection (1) of this section, include the repeal of any subsidiary legislation made under the repealed Acts, in so far as such subsidiary legislation has effect as part of the law of Belize.
