Jurisdiction of local courts on other classes of insurance policies

Every policy issued in Belize or to a person resident in Belize through a person or office in Belize shall be governed by the laws of Belize and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Belize, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in the policy or in any agreement relating to the policy.
