Falsification of deposit information

A person whodeposit in formation. (a) falsifies a passbook, certificate of deposit, bank deposit, statement or any document in respect of a deposit with a Fund member; 27 (b) fraudulently claims to be a depositor or insured depositor; or (c) fraudulently obtains deposit insurance, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of twenty five thousand dollars or to a term of imprisonment of two years, or to both such fine and term of imprisonment.
