Application of Act to companies registered under former Acts

This Act shall apply to every unlimited company registered in pursuance of any previous Act or Ordinance described in section 224, as a limited company, in the same manner as it applies to an unlimited company registered in pursuance of this Act as a limited company, provided that reference, express or implied, to the date of registration shall be construed as a reference to the date at which the company was registered as a limited company under any such Act or Ordinance.
