Appointment by the Attorney General of Official Receiver of debtors’ estates

(1) The Attorney General may, from time to time, appoint such person as he may think fit to be the Official Receiver of debtors’ estates, and may remove any person so appointed from such office. General Official 60 (2) The Official Receiver of debtors’ estates shall be an officer of the court. (3) The court may, on the application of the Official Receiver, at any time appoint some fit person or persons, to be the deputy or deputies of the Official Receiver, under such conditions as to remuneration and otherwise as may be prescribed.
