Detention of vehicles in pursuance of the Treaty lawful

Where a vehicle falls within the scope of the Treaty it shall be lawful for the relevant authorities in Belize to detain such vehicle for such period as is reasonably necessary to determine any request for its return to the United States pursuant to the terms of the Treaty.
