Admissibility of documents

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Evidence Act, Cap. 95 or any other law, all documents received from the authorities of the United States of America in support of a request for the return of a stolen vehicle from Belize, which are duly authenticated by a judge, magistrate, (Belize/United States) 5 notary public or other competent authority in the United States, shall be admissible in all courts in Belize as prima facie evidence of the facts therein stated without further proof.
