Repeal

The Civil Aviation (Scheme of Charges) Regulations, 2009 and Civil Aviation (Scheme of Charges) Regulations, 2010 are repealed. 604 Civil Aviation SCHEDULE [Regulation 3(1)] Scheme of Charges TITLE FEES 1. Certificate of Registration The fee payable on application for registration of an aircraft and issue of the relevant certificate, based on the maximum total weight authorized (MTWA) of the aircraft shall be in accordance with the following: (a) Not exceeding 6,000 lbs. $100.00 (b) Exceeding 6,000 lbs. and up to 12,500 lbs. $150.00 (c) Exceeding 12,500 lbs. and up to 30,000 lbs. $325.00 (d) Exceeding 30,000 lbs. and up to 100,000 lbs. $350.00 (e) Exceeding 100,000 lbs. $450.00 2. Certificate of Airworthiness Upon making application for the issue or renewal of a Certificate of Airworthiness, the applicant shall pay in respect of a complete year of validity as follows: (a) Not exceeding 6,000 lbs. $600.00 (b) Exceeding 6,000 lbs. and up to 12,500 lbs. $840.00 (c) Exceeding 12,500 lbs. and up to 30,000 lbs. $1080.00 (d) Exceeding 30,000 lbs. and up to 100,000 lbs. $1200.00 Civil Aviation 605 (e) Exceeding 100,000 lbs. $1500.00 3. Changes of particular or category- Certificate of Registration/Airworthiness In respect of an application to change the particulars of a Certificate of Registration or change the category of a Certificate of Airworthiness. $50.00 4. Aeronautical Personnel Licenses The fee to be paid upon making an application for the grant, renewal, variation or validation of a licence or for the inclusion or renewal of a type rating such a licence shall be as follows: Flight Crew Licences (a) Grant/Renewal of a Pilot’s Licence $50.00 (b) Grant/Renewal of Private Pilot’s $30.00 Licence (c) Grant o f a Student Pilot’s Licence $30.00 (d) Extension of a Rating $30.00 (e) Validation of a Flight Crew Licence $50.00 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence (a) Grant/Renewal of Licence $50.00 $30.00 (b) Extension of a Rating 606 Civil Aviation (c) Validation of a Licence’ $50.00 Air Traffic Control Officer/Flight Dispatcher Licence (a) Grant/Renewal of Licence (b) Extension of a Rating $30.00 5. Technical Examinations Upon making an application for an examination to be conducted by the Department of Civil Aviation for the grant or extension of a licence or for the inclusion of a rating therein or for any other purpose the charges shall be as follows: (a) Flying test for the grant of a licence $200.00 (b) Any technical ground examination or part thereof (c) Flying test for aircraft type rating $50.00 6. Aerodrome/Heliport Licences Upon making application for an aerodrome/heliport licence the charges shall be as follows: (a) For an official inspection of aerodromes/heliports Civil Aviation 607 $200.00 (b) For the grant/renewal of an annual licence (private) $250.00 (c) For the grant/renewal of an annual licence (public) 7. Grant of Approvals/Certificates (a) Inspections for the issue of a $500.00 maintenance organization certificate/approval (b) renewal of certificate/approval $500.00 (c) Inspection for the issue of an Air $500.00 Operator Certificate (AOC) (d) Issue/renewal of AOC $500.00 (e) Variation of the Certificates $150.00 8.Other Approvals, Variations, Dispensations or Authorizations (a) Issue of any of an approval, variation, dispensation or authorization $30.00 9. Agricultural Aircraft Operator Certificate (a) Inspection for the issue of certificate $250.00 (b) Issue/renewal of certificate $250.00 (c) Variation of certificate $150.00 608 Civil Aviation 10. Copy of any Document (a) For the copy or replacement of a document issued under this Schedule 11. Technical Assessment of Foreign Registered Aircraft Upon making application for the technical assessment of a foreign registered aircraft operated under the terms of Belize Air Operators Certificate, Operating Certificate or Operations Authorization, the applicant shall pay in respect of each complete year of validity applied for in respect of the certificate, the cost of any investigation required by the Department of Civil Aviation, plus: (a) Not exceeding 6,000 lbs. $625.00 (b) Exceeding 6,000 lbs. and up to 12,500 lbs. $875.00 (c) Exceeding 12,500 lbs. and up to 30,000 lbs. $1125.00 (d) Exceeding 30,000 lbs. and up to 100,000 lbs. $1250.00 (e) Exceeding 100,000 lbs. $1500.00 12. Statement of Airworthiness for Export, Certificate of Airworthiness for Export, Special Flight Permits or Special Airworthiness Certificates When an application is made for a statement of airworthiness for export or Certificate of Airworthiness for Export in respect of an aircraft the applicant shall pay the full cost for investigations required by the Department of Civil Aviation plus a charge of: (a) Not exceeding 6,000 lbs. $120.00 Civil Aviation 609 (b) Exceeding 6,000 lbs. and up to 12,500 lbs. $240.00 (c) Exceeding 12,500 lbs. and up to 30,000 lbs. $600.00 (d) Exceeding 30,000 lbs. and up to 100,000 lbs. $1200.00 (e) Exceeding 100,000 lbs. $2000.00 13. Authorization of Examiners The fee to be paid upon making an application for appointment as an authorized examiner to conduct tests for flight crew ratings. $150.00 14. Approval of Training Courses The fee to be paid upon making an application for the approval of renewal of approval of a flight training school to conduct courses of training for the: (a) Commercial Pilot’s License (Aeroplanes) $1000.00 (b) Commercial Pilot’s License (Helicopter) $1000.00 (c) Private Pilot’s License (Aeroplanes & $1000.00 Helicopters) 15. Fuel Facilities When an application is made by a person for the approval of an organization for the purpose of distribution or storage of aviation fuel the fee shall be as follows: $200.00 (a) For the investigation required by the Department of Civil Aviation. 610 Civil Aviation (b) For the issue/removal of an annual approval. 16. Additional charges where functions are performed off station When an application is made for the Department of Civil Aviation to perform a function in respect of which a fee is specified in these regulations as a result of which the Department deems it necessary for a member, employee or representative to travel outside the place which he/she is normally stationed, the applicant shall pay, in addition to the appropriate fee specified, a fee equal to the additional cost thereby incurred during which such member, employee or representation is absent from the place in which he/she is normally stationed. 17. Overtime fee for the Air-Traffic Services For the provision of air traffic service per hour or past thereof outside the operating hours of the P.S.W.G International Airport.
