Practical flying tests

The applicant shall, subject to the provisions of regulation 100 of these Regulations, be required in the course of flying tests, including flights by day and by night with an examiner on board to demonstrate his general competence as a pilot during normal and emergency manoeuvre, and his ability to fly the type of flying machine to which the application relates.
