Exemptions

An applicant who has been the holder of a commercial pilot’s licence (flying machines) or a licence of a higher class may, at the discretion of the Governor and having regard to the type of flying machine for which a licence is desired, be exempted from all or any part of the requirements as to flying experience, practical flying tests and technical examination specified in regulations 96, 97 and 98 of these Regulations. Any exemption in respect of the said practical flying tests may be made conditional upon the satisfactory completion by the applicant of a special flying test.
