Fuel throughput fee

(1) A fuel throughput fee $0.25 shall be paid to the Chief Executive Officer in respect of every US gallon of aviation fuel sold, supplied or delivered at any prescribed airport. fee. (2) Any concessionaries providing fuelling services at any prescribed airport shall submit to the Chief Executive Officer, a monthly report of fuel sold to each airline or private aircraft. The report shall be submitted not later than ten (10) days after the end of each month and shall be used to calculate the fee referred to in subregulation (1). 38 Belize Airports Authority (3) Failure to submit the report of fuel in accordance with subregulation (2) above within the time allowed shall constitute an offence. (4) Any person who commits of an offence under subregulation (3) above shall, notwithstanding anything contained in section 21(e) of the Interpretation Act, be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
