Issue, endorsement, duration and validity of certificate

(1) When an initial or renewal verification is satisfactorily completed pursuant to regulation 13 of these Regulations, IMMARBE or a recognised security organisation acting on its behalf shall issue or, as the case may be, endorse a Certificate. Merchant Ships (Registration) 248 (2) A Certificate shall be drawn up in a form corresponding to the model given in the appendix to Part A of the ISPS Code. (3) The duration and validity of a Certificate shall be in accordance with section 19.3 of Part A of the ISPS Code.
