Fixed fire-extinguishing, fixed fire detection and fire alarm

Registration Of Merchant Ships (Cargo Vessels Operating In The Caribbean Trading Area) (Safety) Regulations, reg. 66 · Revised Edition 2020

(1) Subject to the provisions of subregulation (2), fixed fire- extinguishing systems, fixed fire detection and fire alarm systems required by this Part shall comply, as far as practicable and reasonable, with the relevant requirements for these systems specified in the Regulations of the 1974 SOLAS Convention. (2) Fixed halogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing systems shall not be used in ships.
