Scope of application of this Part

(1) This Part shall apply whenever any person referred to in section 75 of this Act, seeks to limit his liability before the Court or seeks to procure the release of a ship or other property, or the discharge of any security given. 60 (2) In the event of a conflict between the provisions of this Part and any other law or international convention to which Belize is a party, the provisions of this Part shall prevail.
