Extinguishment of maritime liens

All maritime liens against a vessel shall be extinguished, liens. (a) by the judicial sale of the vessel; or (b) after three calendar months following the permanent registration of a change of ownership of the vessel; or (c) after a period of one year, unless such period expired before the expiry of the period mentioned in paragraph (b) of this section.
