Publication of notice of and objection to application

(1) An application for a permit under regulation 7, shall be published by the Ports Commissioner in two consecutive issues of the Gazette, and contemporaneously, in one newspaper of general circulation, or by any other means that the Ports Commissioner considers appropriate, notifying– (a) receipt of an application for a permit; (b) the proposed landing places, routes and schedules; and (c) the time, not being less than 21 days from the date of the second Gazette publication of the notice, within which any representation or objection to an application may be made. 101 (2) A notice under subregulation (1) shall contain the following– (a) an invitation for representation or objection to an application; and (b) the time period within which the representation or objection may be made. (3) The Ports shall consider any representation or objection made to an application.
