Offence of false or misleading information

A person who for the purpose of obtaining a permit under these Regulations gives false or misleading information or fails to disclose material facts or circumstances, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction– (a) in the case of a body corporate, to a fine of two thousand dollars; or (b) in the case of an individual, to a fine of one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for six months or to both.
