Rejection of application for or cancellation of permit

(1) Where the Ports Commissioner rejects an application under regulation 7, the Ports Commissioner shall, within 14 days of the decision, inform the applicant in writing of the rejection giving reasons for the rejection. (2) Where– (a) an application for a permit is rejected in accordance with subregulation (1); or (b) a permit is cancelled in accordance with regulation 20, 102 a new application for a permit shall not be accepted by the Ports Commissioner within a period of six months beginning with the date of rejection or cancellation.
