Goods left on wharf

(1) No goods shall be left on any public wharf for a period exceeding twenty-four hours without the consent of the Harbour (2) Any goods left on any public wharf contrary to the provisions of subregulation (1) may be seized and, unless such goods be claimed by the owner thereof and any rent payable under the provisions of regulation 10 paid, after 14 days may be sold by public auction. (3) Where any goods have been sold under the provisions of subregulation (2) the Harbour Master shall after deduction therefrom of the cost of such auction and any rent payable under the provisions of regulation 10, pay the proceeds of such auction to the owner of the goods.
