Tonnage duty

(1) Subject to the provisions of regulations 6 and 8 there shall be paid in respect of any ship anchored or made fast alongside any public wharf tonnage duty assessed in accordance with the provisions of Schedule I to these Regulations. Schedule I. (2) Any tonnage duty payable under the provisions of these Regulations shall be paid to or secured to the satisfaction of the Harbour Master before such ship is moved from alongside any (3) Any person moving any ship before the tonnage duty has been paid or secured in accordance with the provisions of subregulation (2) commits an offence.
