Powers of customs and police officers

It shall be lawful for the Harbour Master or any customs or police officer to prevent any unauthorised person from coming on to a public wharf and also to order any unauthorised person already there to leave the same and any such person neglecting or refusing to leave such wharf when requested so to do may be taken into custody without a warrant by the Harbour Master or any such customs or police officer and shall upon conviction before a District Magistrate be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty dollars.
