Date when wharfage dues payable

The date from which wharfage dues on cargo other than lumber and hard woods shall become due and payable shall be as follows– (a) in respect of goods landed from a ship in the harbour, when all other cargo from such ship shall have been cleared from the landing shed and/or such shed vacated; and (b) in respect of goods landed from a ship which discharged alongside the wharf and paid tonnage dues, after the expiration of twenty- four hours of the landing of such goods. 12 Harbours and Merchant Shipping
