Removal of refuse

(1) Upon completion of the loading or unloading of its cargo, the master of every vessel shall ensure that all dunnage or other refuse caused thereby shall be removed from the designated berth. 84 Belize Port Authority (2) The master of any vessel who fails to comply with the provisions of subregulation (1) above commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction – (a) to the cost of the removal of the dunnage and other refuse; and (b) to a fine of three hundred dollars. The fine shall be credited to the account of the Authority.
