Ports Commissioner may confer power on officers

The Ports Commissioner or a port manager may, by notice in writing, authorize any officer of the Authority to maintain order upon any premises used by the Authority or any place in the port, or on any ship or vehicle used by or for the purposes of the Authority, and any officer so authorized shall in the performance of any such duty, have all the powers and privileges and protection of a police officer.
