Licence to lay tramway along road

(1) It shall be lawful for the Minister, upon application being made in that behalf, to grant permission to any person to lay, construct and maintain any tramway along the route of any public road under such conditions as he may consider expedient to prescribe. 21 (2) Notice of the terms of the application under this section shall have been inserted in the Gazette at least three weeks previously to the date of the Order of the Minister. (3) Any application under this section shall be made through the Chief Engineer, and shall be accompanied by a fee of fifty dollars.
