Responsibility of Chief Engineer

The Chief Engineer shall be charged, subject to the authority, control and direction of the Minister, with the construction, alteration, maintenance and supervision of all public roads of Belize, and he may delegate to any officers any or all of the powers conferred on him under this Act.
