Interior height

The clear height at the centre line of any gangway extending from the front edge of the foremost passenger seat to the front edge of the rearmost passenger seat served by that gangway shall be as follows– (i) in the case of an omnibus, other than an omnibus referred to in subparagraph (ii) hereof, fitted with a permanent top, not less than 5' 6" if the seating capacity of the omnibus exceeds eight; (ii) in the case of an omnibus the seating capacity of which exceeds eight constructed and used solely for the purpose of conveying school Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic [CAP. 230 113 children and any necessary attendants to and from school, not less than 5'.
