The exhaust pipe shall be so fitted or shielded that no inflammable material can be thrown upon it from any other part of the omnibus and that it is not likely to cause a fire through proximity to any inflammable material on the omnibus; the outlet thereof shall be placed far enough to the rear to prevent, so far as practicable, fumes from entering the omnibus. 110
