Learner’s permit, physical fitness

Any person desiring to learn to drive shall make application to a transport officer for a learner’s permit which shall be in the form set out in Schedule L hereto. On receipt of the application the transport officer shall, unless he has reasonable cause to believe that the applicant is physically unfit to drive issue the permit subject to the conditions of the Act. Such permit shall be valid for a period of three months commencing on the date of issue of the permit.
