Validity of Belize Driving Licence may be limited

A Belize Driving Licence may at the discretion of the transport officer be issued and endorsed as valid only for the driving of any particular class or description of motor vehicle of a particular design or construction or for a specific motor vehicle in the following circumstances: (a) when the applicant is certified by the examiner who has tested him as capable of driving only such vehicle or class of vehicles; (b) when the applicant is certified by a medical officer as physically fit to drive only such vehicle or class of vehicles; (c) when by reason of his age or experience or otherwise he is entitled to drive only a particular class of vehicles by the provisions of the Act; (d) when the applicant is issued with a free Belize Driving Licence under the provisions of section 39 of the Act. Any such licence issued as aforesaid shall be valid only for the driving of the vehicle or class of vehicles endorsed thereon. 98
