Evidence of physical fitness

Before the issue or renewal of a Belize Driving licence the applicant shall sign a declaration as to his physical fitness to drive a motor vehicle which shall be in the form set out in Part III of Schedule J hereto: Provided that the transport officer may at his discretion require the applicant to produce a certificate of fitness signed by a government medical officer certifying that the physique, vision, hearing and bodily and mental fitness of the applicant are such as to qualify the applicant to hold a Belize Driving
