Holder of dealer’s licence to keep record of use of plates 64

Every holder of a dealer’s general licence shall keep a Demonstration Book upon his business premises and, on every occasion on which the dealer’s identification plates are used on a motor vehicle, he shall make or cause to be made immediately on the departure of such motor vehicle from his premises an entry in the Demonstration Book giving the following particulars, provided that the particulars of the return of the vehicle shall not be entered until its return: (a) date; (b) identification plate; (c) make, colour and engine number of the (d) name of driver or other employee of the holder of the licence accompanying the (e) name of other passengers; (f) purpose for which the vehicle is used; (g) destination; (h) time of departure; and (i) time of return.
