Form of plates

(1) The plates shall be of such shape and size as the Department of Transport may consider desirable and shall be marked “TEST” followed by a serial number which shall be the same for all sets of plates supplied to the holder of the licence. Where more than one set of plates is supplied to the holder of a licence each set shall be distinguished by a letter after the serial (2) All such plates shall have yellow figures and letters on a black background.
