Temporary vehicle licences

No temporary licence for a vehicle shall be issued under the provisions of section 28 of the Act unless the vehicle is registered and licensed in the country of residence of the owner of the vehicle. Application for such temporary licence shall be made by the owner of the vehicle to a Transport officer in the form of Schedule F hereto. Such licence shall be valid for a period not exceeding three months and may be issued upon the payment of a fee of ten dollars; but the Department of Transport may require the vehicle to be produced for inspection.
