Applications to be considered by the Department

(1) All applications shall be considered by the Department of Transport which shall have power to allow or disallow any Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic [CAP. 230 157 Provided that the Department shall not allow any application for a limited or exclusive concession to operate motor omnibuses without the consent of the National Assembly in accordance with section 108 of the Act. (2) In considering an application for a road service permit to an international service provider, the Department of Transport shall take into account any outstanding traffic violation tickets issued against such applicant.
