Exits and gangways to be kept clear

(1) The driver of a motor omnibus, or a conductor if one be carried, shall while passengers are being carried, ensure that every entrance, exit and gangway is kept clear of obstructions, including obstructions caused by any goods or luggage carried within the vehicle. (2) The owner or operator of a motor omnibus shall ensure that while passengers are being carried, such motor omnibus is properly provided and equipped with a litter receptacle for the use of passengers, to be affixed in a convenient place inside the motor omnibus.
