Motor Vehicles And Road Traffic Regulations, reg. 116 · Revised Edition 2020
The driver of a motor vehicle approaching a major road shall give way to vehicles on such major road, and he has the burden upon him of taking every care and precaution against accident. Proof that the warning appliance was sounded will not be held to be proof that this burden was discharged.
